WHAT:
The Northern Kentucky Port Authority (NKY Port) announced today with its developer and construction manager, Corporex, and prime contractor, Hemmer Construction Company, that 700 cubic yards of concrete for the plaza level, the ground floor of the OneNKY Center (209 Greenup Street), has been poured in three sections over the last several weeks. The final section was poured on March 13.
The plaza level is the first elevated concrete pour at 22,684 square feet and is above the parking garage. The southern end of the second floor of the building, that will house the Covington Life Science Lab, has begun to be formed in preparation for pouring of the next level. The parking garage concrete, the base for the building, was poured in early February 2024.
Ground was broken for the OneNKY Center, a 47,000-square-foot Class A office building, on August 30, 2023 with Governor Andy Beshear. It will be the home of the Covington Life Science Lab and numerous NKY growth organizations. The building is 93 percent leased to the tenants listed below.
